So what would you do if you won the lottery? I think a lot of people spend a lot of time daydreaming about what they would do with their winnings if they hit the jackpot. I don’t play the lottery anymore, so I don’t give it much thought but I guess most people say the same old things like buy an expensive car or travel around the world. Anyway, the first thing many people do if they win is go on a spending spree.

As for me, if I won the lottery, I wouldn’t blow it on material things like this. Of course I would use it to travel more but I don’t think I would stay in luxury hotels and travel everywhere first class. I would probably use some of the money to study more. I would love to learn more languages, so I think I would sign up for language courses in different countries, which would also be a great way to find out about different cultures. The problem at the moment of course is a lack of time to do these things.

Another good thing would be to use the money to help needy people. I wouldn’t just donate all the money to charity as I don’t know how the money would be spent. It might even be wasted that way. But I would like to use some of it for projects that help people to help themselves in some way and I would like to be involved in that somehow. That would give me a real sense of satisfaction.
